The Sheffield Health Informatics Service is designed to meet the
IM&T needs of four Primary Care Trusts and 96 primary healthcare
teams through a wide range of informatics services including:
- Information management and analysis
- Research and health needs assessment
- IT technical and Helpdesk services for nearly 2000 PC users
- Systems procurement and implementation
- PRIMIS
- IM&T Training
- Library and knowledge management services
- Patient and public information including websites and intranet
management
The Sheffield Health Informatics Service works with colleagues
in partner organisations to develop the health and social care informatics
infrastructure across the city.
